Job summary

PlayCore in Michigan seeks a material handling associate to stage welded steel members for processing and to operate overhead cranes for moving parts. The role includes forklift use and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Candidates should understand basic material handling methods and have EPICOR ERP experience or familiarity with similar systems. Reading blueprints and contributing to team improvement are required.

• Utilizes overhead cranes to move parts.
• Occasionally uses forklift to transfer parts.
• Continuous improvement in support of department and company goals
• Supports, participates and encourages team building
• Provides feedback, both positive and negative, to the team, other related departments and the supervisor

Education and/or Experience

• This position requires a knowledge of basic material handling methods to ensure a quality product is delivered to all customers
• Work requires high school diploma or equivalent
