Piper Companies is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for an on-site contract position in Durham, North Carolina (NC). The Manufacturing Associate will be an integral part of our production team, ensuring efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee and operate biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
• Adhere to SOPs and GMP guidelines to uphold product quality standards.
• Gain cross-training experience across various manufacturing sectors.
• Assist operators in equipment management and executing essential processes.
• Help coordinate schedule adjustments when a Senior Manufacturing Associate is unavailable.
• Provide support across multiple GMP production areas as needed.
• Accurately document production activities and maintain thorough records.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of relevant experience or less.
• Experience in SAP, Veeva QMS, CMMS strongly preferred.
• Experience with MS Word and Excel is required.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with gowning procedures and GMP regulations.
• Associate's Degree (e.g., Biowork) or Bachelor's Degree.

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $25-$30/hour.
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, sick leave if required by law.
