As a Manufacturing Assistant , you will be apart of a team that takes the process of creating a corrugated product from beginning to end. Being apart of a team that serves not only local customers but national customer in either the Food Grade Industry , Medical Grade Industry , or Retail Industry is a great way to help Hood Container grow. Candidates are PREFERRED who offer the following:
High school diploma or GED.
Prior work experience in the corrugated industry.
Prior work experience in a fulfillment operation.
Able to read, write, communicate efficiently, and follow instructions on factory masters.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, lift, push, pull, squat, and swivel. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to hot and/or humid as well as cold conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, vibrations, louder than normal environments, and high paced atmosphere.
