Aston Carter is recruiting an Assistant Controller for a growth-oriented manufacturing environment in Florida. You will oversee general accounting, drive the close, support audits and tax, and push improvements in cost accounting, processes, and ERP-driven reporting.

The role offers broad exposure to finance, operations, and executive leadership, with opportunities to influence financial infrastructure and grow toward senior leadership.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience coordinating external audits and maintaining internal controls.
• Manufacturing costing experience and ERP familiarity.

Mansioni

• Oversee day-to-day general accounting operations, including cash management and financial reporting.
• Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end close processes.
• Support tax compliance and documentation.
• Develop and monitor accounting policies and procedures.
• Apply cost accounting, inventory valuation, and overhead allocation.
• Perform COGS analysis to drive margin improvements.
• Partner with Operations for accurate job costing and WIP reporting.
• Coordinate annual financial audits with external auditors.
