Job summary

Armstrong World Industries is seeking a Production Associate (Assembly - Days) in Johnstown, OH. The role involves manufacturing, assembling, packaging and supporting material handling to fulfill customer orders.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing, assembly, material movement, or machine operator experience preferred.
• Knowledge of metal manufacturing materials, fabrication processes and machinery preferred.
• Ability to learn forklift operation and other company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, assemble and package Steel Ceilings products to meet customer orders.
• Perform material handling, crating and machine helper duties as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe working area and observe plant safety regulations.
• Participate in training, conform to company policies, and assist others as needed.
• Keep accurate records of production, waste, and quality checks.
