Job summary

TWG is seeking an assembler to operate hydraulic and manual presses, assemble parts per BOM and engineering drawings, and perform tests on assemblies. The role requires maintaining ERP transactions and may involve training colleagues.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and be willing to travel as needed, with responsibility for ISO-compliant problem solving and environmental protection in line with procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts according to Bill of Material, Bill of Operations, engineering drawings and any other related controlled documents.
• Operates hydraulic and manual presses to assist in assembly operation.
• Performs test procedures on assemblies as directed.
• Required to maintain accurate and timely transactions in the ERP system.
• Repairs and maintains mechanical equipment.
• Be able to drive forklift truck, hand trucks or manually move parts as directed or required.
• Complete kitting parts based on production schedule.
• May be required to train other employees and help in other departments as directed.
• Other essential duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required.
• This position is also responsible for, with authority to follow ISO procedures, initiate action to prevent problems, document quality problems, contribute to problem solutions, verify implementation of solutions, control further processing when a problem is identified, protect the environment, including preventing pollution, analyzing or identifying areas for correction or improvement.
