Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Manufacturing Assembler at our VA manufacturing campus to support assembly, inspection, packaging, and material movement. You will work closely with the production team to meet goals while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic math skills, and strong attention to detail. Overtime or weekend shifts may be required depending on production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing/assembly preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and subassemblies per work instructions and schedules.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality and specifications.
• Identify and report defects or equipment issues to supervisors.
• Package, label, and prepare products for shipment or storage.
• Maintain production records and logs as required.
• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Assist with material handling and inventory movement.
• Participate in lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement.
