Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly operations requiring fine hand dexterity and precision.
  • Proficiently assemble at least one assembly station or line, ensuring efficient production.
  • Ensure GMP and GDP compliance in all tasks.
  • Adhere to work schedules and accurately report hours worked.
  • Maintain legible records, including initialing, dating, and notes.
  • Follow written procedures and instructions in English.

Position Overview

The Manufacturing Assembler II is responsible for assembling parts and components used in the production of high-quality medical devices. This position requires advanced assembly skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of manufacturing practices. The role involves adhering to industry standards and regulations, ensuring that products meet quality specifications and are assembled with precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly operations requiring fine hand dexterity and precision.
  • Proficiently assemble at least one assembly station or line, ensuring efficient and accurate production.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) in all tasks.
  • Adhere to work schedules and accurately report hours worked.
  • Maintain legible and accurate records, including initialing, dating, and making clear notes.
  • Follow all written procedures and safety practices to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Read, comprehend, and follow written procedures and instructions in English.
  • Assist in the development, revision, and maintenance of assembly procedures, protocols, and checklists.
  • Identify and evaluate problems during assembly, make initial recommendations for corrective actions, and escalation as needed.
Experience
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in a Medical Device or Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in basic arithmetic and measurements.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude is required.
  • Prior experience in the medical device industry is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate within a team and contribute to achieving team goals.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to navigate uncertain situations.
  • Proven proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Relevant certification related to the position (e.g., Medical Device Manufacturing certification, GMP certification) is a plus.
Physical Demands
  • The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods during the performance of job duties.
  • Must be able to physically be present on-site to perform the required tasks.
