Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, ID seeks a Manufacturing Applications Engineer to build and maintain responsive web apps for manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with manufacturing engineering, data specialists, quality teams and stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, reliable, user-friendly applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience developing web applications.
• 2+ years working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with APIs, source control, debugging and software testing.
• Understanding of component-based application development and client-server architecture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
• Integrate applications with APIs, databases, and enterprise data services for data/system integration.
• Translate business requirements into intuitive application workflows and user interfaces.
• Apply authentication, authorization, RBAC, and data-security requirements for security and quality.
• Use Git-based workflows and participate in Agile planning for CI/CD and improvements.
