Manufacturing Analyst

Location: Whitsett, NC. Pay: $23.10/hour. Schedule: Sun‑Thurs, 11:00 pm – 7:00 am.

Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer Analyst is responsible for supporting and optimizing production processes, systems, and product configurations within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on improving efficiency, maintaining accurate system data (SAP/BOM), and ensuring smooth production operations through engineering analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and control engineering specifications and product configurations.
• Manage and update Bill of Materials (BOM) and Engineering Change (EC) data.
• Support product setup and routing using SAP (HANA / S4) and internal systems.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and develop process improvements.
• Configure systems such as label design and Zebra printers for production.
• Collaborate with global engineering and production teams for product launches.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and troubleshooting activities.
• Lead or assist with continuous improvement (Lean manufacturing) projects.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Update SAP with product structures, routing, and standard times.
• Support production lines when configuration or system issues arise.
• Analyze process flow, line balance, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Work cross‑functionally with engineering, ops, and quality teams.
• Handle urgent production needs and engineering changes.

Basic Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Engineering Technology (or related field).
• 2–3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in electronics or server manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP / ERP systems, BOM management, and manufacturing processes and workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Nice‑to‑Have / Related Skills

• Lean manufacturing / continuous improvement.
• Process analysis (time studies, line balancing).
• CAD or layout tools for process optimization.
• Understanding of assembly, testing, and packaging processes.
