Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a Solution Manager in Supply Chain Manufacturing Operations to design, build, test, and scale AI-enabled manufacturing solutions across MES/ERP and industrial data platforms.

You will work with cross-functional teams to turn priority use cases into production-ready assets, with a focus on reusable components, governance, and repeatability. This hands-on role emphasizes building prototypes and scalable solutions that drive operational value.

Qualifications

• Hands-on solution-engineering across manufacturing operations, AI, and data platforms.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing data platforms, DataOps, and data fabrics.
• Practical knowledge of knowledge graphs, semantic layers, ontologies, and governance.
• Experience designing RAG or GraphRAG solutions with embeddings and vector search.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design, development, testing, and documentation of AI-based manufacturing solutions.
• Translate problems into defined AI use cases, requirements, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead use-case development from concept to working prototype and industrialization.
• Build manufacturing data platforms connecting MES/MOM, ERP, historians, SCADA, PLC, IoT, and quality systems.
• Develop reusable data models and ontologies for assets, sites, lines, and processes.
• Create reference implementations and demonstration environments showing integrated AI solution components.
• Establish development standards, versioning, testing, and deployment guidance.
