• Create and maintain department records and documentation.
• Coordinate with MRP/QA groups to support manufacturing and testing of materials.
• Assist with data entry, labeling programs, and inventory control tasks.
• Support multiple departments and special projects as needed.

The Opportunity

The Manufacturing Admin provides administrative support by conducting research, preparing reports, and handling information requests. They support a medium-to-large team or a senior-level manager. With increasingly limited supervision, they perform a wide range of administrative functions related to the production, receiving, shipping, and inventory of specialty silicone products to ensure timely, accurate task completion.

Education

• High School completion or equivalent (GED) required.
• 1-year certificate from college or technical school (preferred).
• Or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with production processes and applications within a similar industry preferred.
• Computer literate (MS WORD/EXCEL/POWER POINT).
• SAP knowledge and experience are preferred.
• Knowledge of process production activities in a chemical or mechanical manufacturing environment preferred.
• Prior experience at NuSil preferred.

• Creates and maintains established record-keeping systems using paper forms and computerized programs.
• Assists with and/or maintains materials labeling program.
• Assists with and/or maintains company inventory systems.

• Interfaces with other departments to achieve production goals and product shipment requirements.
• Works closely with the MRP and QA groups to coordinate manufacturing and testing of materials & documentation.
• May maintain area inventory control by overseeing cycle counting, verifying inventory accuracy, and correcting issues.
• May perform data entry tasks.
• Maintains quality within the scope of the job description.
• Ensures that all manufacturing and packaging paperwork is completed accurately.
• May research documentation within company quality system programs.
• Reviews process reproducibility trends for applicable products and applies that knowledge to improve processes and products.
• May assist with technical writing and Document Control Requests as needed.
• Works on special projects and/or spreadsheets as required.
• Supports multiple departments as required.

Pay Transparency: The expected pre-tax pay for this position is $39,500.00 - $63,250.00 Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
