Job summary

Ascendo Resources is seeking a Management Accountant for a 100% on-site role in Newark, NJ. You will oversee accounting operations, manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation, budgeting, forecasting and internal controls.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred. A minimum of 5 years as Management Accountant and 5+ years ERP experience, ideally SAP Business One, is expected, with a background in food & beverage manufacturing highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CMA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years as Management Accountant.
• 5+ years ERP experience, preferably SAP B1.
• Food & beverage manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting for manufacturing.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and support audits.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, supply chain, and leadership.
