Job summary

Integrity Trade Services is seeking an Accounting Manager for our food manufacturing client to start immediately at $80k-$100k/annually DOE. The role will oversee monthly close, general ledger, budgeting, and financial reporting across two manufacturing sites in Chicago and Buffalo, with travel to Buffalo up to twice a month.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years progressive accounting experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, manufacturing exposure, and proficiency with Excel and ERP

Qualifications

• Three to five or more years of progressive accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems or ERP platforms.
• Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Manufacturing accounting experience is required; experience in food manufacturing is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
• Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger and ensure transactions comply with established accounting policies.
• Complete balance-sheet reconciliations and research discrepancies or variances.
• Support the preparation of financial statements, internal reporting, and management reporting packages.
• Respond to audit requests and assemble documentation for external audit support.
• Monitor budgets and provide financial oversight for plant operations.
• Partner with site leadership on budget planning, spending discipline, and budget-versus-actual performance.
