Job summary

Skill, a leading flexible packaging manufacturer in California, seeks a hands-on Accounting/Finance professional to manage daily financial operations and collaborate with senior management. You will own routine accounting, payroll, cost analysis, and reporting, driving accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

You will partner with operations to understand cost drivers, improve margins, and support budgeting, forecasting, and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with cost accounting, inventory, and profitability analysis.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end closing.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities: AP, AR, GL, payroll, cash.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP system and ensure internal controls.
• Coordinate with CPA, tax advisors, banks, and benefits providers.
• Analyze profitability by customer, product, and order.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
