Job summary

RBC Bearings Incorporated is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee general accounting, ledgers, payables, payroll, and budget reporting for the division. The role drives month-end close, forecasts, and internal controls in a manufacturing context.

The candidate will utilize Syteline ERP and Tagetik for reporting, coordinate audits, and support cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance. A bachelor's in accounting/finance is required, MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounting for manufacturing operations and a track record of successfully managing multiple divisions.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills for comprehensive financial analysis.
• Exceptional organization and leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; MBA certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Regularly prepares and reviews the general ledger and manages month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Coordinates the monthly forecast and flash reports for executive management.
• Prepares financial and statistical reports using Syteline ERP and Tagetik.
• Coordinates and prepares for financial audits.
• Assists in annual budget preparation and reporting.
• Monitors internal controls to ensure compliance.
• Publishes and analyzes inventory and cost reports for the executive team.
• Fosters communication between finance and operations to support business objectives.
