Job summary

RBC Bearings in Torrance, CA is seeking an Accounting Manager who will report to the Controller and oversee general accounting, GL, payables, payroll, and budget reporting for the division. You will manage month-end close, forecast coordination, financial statements, audits, and internal controls while partnering with finance and operations to drive accuracy and business insights.

A bachelor’s in accounting or finance is required; MBA preferred; manufacturing experience is a plus; competitive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; MBA certification preferred
• Experience managing accounting for manufacturing operations across multiple divisions

Responsibilities

• Regularly prepares and reviews the general ledger and oversees month-end and year-end closing.
• Coordinates monthly forecast and flash reports for executive management.
• Prepares financial and statistical reports using Syteline ERP and Tagetik consolidation system.
• Coordinates and prepares for financial audits.
• Assists in annual budget preparation and reporting.
• Monitors internal controls and policy compliance.
• Publishes and analyzes inventory and cost reports for executives.
• Fosters communication between finance and operations to support business objectives.
