Job summary

Brilliant®, a growing manufacturing company in Illinois, is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to own the day-to-day accounting function and serve as the primary resource. This onsite role in West Chicago offers broad responsibility and visibility with ownership on financial reporting.

You will manage month-end close, GL, journal entries, and depreciation schedules, while partnering with ownership on strategic processes and audits. Excellent benefits accompany a stable, long-term environment.

Qualifications

• Must own month-end close processes end-to-end.
• Strong knowledge of GL, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Experience with balance sheet and P&L reporting.
• Independent worker with strong Excel abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintain the general ledger
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reporting
• Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules
• Identify and implement accounting process improvements
• Support annual audit and tax preparation
• Provide backup support for AP/AR as needed
• Partner directly with ownership on financial reporting and accounting operations
