Qualifications

• 1-2 years accounting, clerical, or administrative experience.
• Basic understanding of math and accounting principles required.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Use of personal computer, calculator, 10-key and a working knowledge of Word and Excel required.
• Accurate data entry skills with attention to detail and strong organizational, interpersonal, analytic and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently and be detail oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Reconciles production or inventory reports and analyzes variances.
• Generates daily production and inventory reports from the database; compares to shop floor documents.
• Collaborates with production or accounting to resolve discrepancies; elevates unresolved issues.
• Processes accounts payable; matches invoices to receiving reports and POs for payment; codes expenses.
• Prepares weekly summary reports and distributes to management; maintains filing system.
• Tracks accruals and communicates estimates to supervisor; determines item taxability and coding.
• Reviews, prepares, and distributes reports; responds to questions.
• Cross-trains with other accounting staff; supports day-to-day functions during absences.
• Participates in team activities; supports policies and best practices; attends meetings.
