Riviana Foods Inc. in Carlisle, Arkansas, is seeking a Manufacturing Accountant to support accounting and inventory controls across our Arkansas manufacturing operations.

The role reports to the Regional Plant Controller and emphasizes accurate financial reporting, variance analysis, and collaboration with plant leadership. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, has at least 3 years in manufacturing accounting, and is proficient with SAP or an integrated ERP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing accounting experience.
• Experience with an integrated ERP system (SAP preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a high-performing team.

Responsabilités

• Review daily production and consumption transactions and investigate variances.
• Prepare daily/monthly inventory reports and explain variances with plant management.
• Ensure accuracy of plant operating expense reports and accruals, review POs and GR/IR.
• Track capital expenditures and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Support annual budget and mid-year forecasts.
• Support physical inventory, audits, and mock recalls.
• Provide backup for Accounts Payable activities and vendor setup.
• Maintain recipes and BOM data in SAP.
• Cross-train with Regional Plant Controller for coverage.
