Riviana Foods Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Accountant to support accounting and financial functions across our Arkansas manufacturing operations.

Under the supervision of the Regional Plant Controller, you will maintain accurate financial and inventory records, provide timely reporting and analysis, and partner with plant leadership to drive improvements. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, has at least 3 years of manufacturing accounting experience, and is

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on manufacturing accounting experience.
• Experience with a fully integrated ERP system; SAP preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Review and complete daily production and consumption transactions and investigate and resolve consumption issues and usage variances.
• Prepare daily and monthly inventory reports and work with plant management to identify, explain, and resolve inventory variances.
• Ensure accuracy of plant operating expense reports and monthly accounting accruals, including reviewing open purchase orders and GR/IR reports.
• Track capital expenditures, including expenses, asset and disposal forms, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end general ledger close activities, including preparing journal entries, management reports, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with the preparation of the annual manufacturing budget and mid-year forecasts.
• Support physical inventory activities, including analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Participate in various plant audits and inventory-related activities, including mock recalls.
• Provide backup support for Accounts Payable functions, including receiving, matching, and coding plant invoices, processing new vendor requests, and resolving AP issues.
• Maintain and manage recipesand bill of material data within SAP.
• Cross-train with office personnel and the Regional Plant Controller to provide coverage during absences as needed.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Regional Plant Controller or other members of management.
