Job summary
ARS Recycling Systems, a global leader in steel abrasive blasting equipment, seeks an Accountant to join the Lowellville, OH team. You will provide accounting support to the VP of Finance, keep precise financial records, and ensure timely processing of transactions in a build-to-order manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities include processing AP/AR, invoicing, cash reconciliations, and assisting with monthly/annual closings and budgets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1–3 years’ accounting experience required.
- Knowledge of AP, AR and bookkeeping.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting and financial records.
- Process AP invoices and vendor payments.
- Post and distribute customer invoices.
- Prepare and send monthly AR statements.
- Monitor past-due accounts and perform collections.
- Post and reconcile cash receipts.
- Complete bank and account reconciliations.
- Assist with cash flow reporting.
- Support month-end and year-end closing.
- Assist with budgets and expense tracking.
- Prepare financial reports and schedules.
