Manufacturing Acceptance Test Technician II (1st/2nd/3rd shift) - Oak Creek, WI

We are seeking an Acceptance Test Technician! In this role you will conduct final acceptance testing of airborne displays, server and computers and electromechanical indicators using established procedures. You will assist with troubleshooting problems detected during testing. You will also properly document all test findings as required by test and departmental procedures.

This is an on-site position located at our Headquarters in Oak Creek, WI. The working hours are 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM (1st shift), 3:00 PM-11:30 PM (2nd shift), or 11:00 PM -7:30 AM (3rd Shift). The 2 nd and 3 rd shift position includes a shift premium. Training for this position will be held on 1st shift (7:00am-3:30pm). You will report directly to the Manager of Final Test.

How You Will Do It:

  • Conduct acceptance level testing of electronics including: airborne displays, server and computers and electromechanical indicators.
  • Properly document test results and accurately complete accompanying paperwork per departmental procedures
  • Properly document failures on a Failure Report Form.
  • Interface, as needed, with the engineering department, test equipment departments and/or any other department, on test failures as well as process improvement.


What We Look For:

Required:

  • Associate's degree in electronics or electrical engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent military training required.
  • The ability to read, understand and accurately follow quality procedures, test procedures, change orders and other operating instructions.
  • Must be able to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
  • The ability to use oscilloscopes and complex avionics test equipment.
  • The ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Must have a working knowledge of computers.
  • You must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in aircraft avionics.
