Job Description

What You Will Do:

We are seeking an Acceptance Test Technician! In this role, you will conduct final acceptance testing of airborne displays, servers, computers, and electromechanical indicators using established procedures. You will assist with troubleshooting problems detected during testing and properly document all test findings as required by test and departmental procedures.

This is an on-site position located at our Headquarters in Oak Creek, WI. Working hours are 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (1st shift), 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (2nd shift), or 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (3rd shift). The 2nd and 3rd shifts include a shift premium. Training will be held on 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM). You will report directly to the Manager of Final Test.

How You Will Do It:

  • Conduct acceptance testing of electronics including airborne displays, servers, computers, and electromechanical indicators.
  • Document test results and complete accompanying paperwork per departmental procedures.
  • Report failures on a Failure Report Form.
  • Collaborate with engineering, test equipment, and other departments on test failures and process improvements.

What We Look For:

Required:

  • Associate's degree in electronics or electrical engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent military training.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow quality procedures, test procedures, change orders, and operating instructions.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Use oscilloscopes and complex avionics test equipment.
  • Lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Working knowledge of computers.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications:

  • Background in aircraft avionics preferred.
