Qualifications

• Proficient in MIG, TIG welding and other applicable processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Previous welding experience or completion of a welding trade school program is required.
• Successful completion of an in-house welding test.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Safely set up parts for welding using hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions.
• Align, position, and fit components into fixtures according to specifications.
• Set up and operate automated welding equipment as required.
• Monitor weld quality and make adjustments as necessary.
• Ensure completed work meets quality standards and customer specifications.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
