Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Analyst / Senior Quality Assurance Analyst with 310 years of software testing experience and mandatory hands-on experience with Agentic AI. This opportunity is ideal for a QA professional who combines traditional software testing expertise with emerging AI technologies to improve test coverage, accuracy, and efficiency.

The client is actively seeking candidates who can demonstrate practical experience applying Agentic AI and Generative AI to software quality assurance, along with strong SQL, test management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Must Haves

• 310 years of professional software quality assurance experience, including test planning, test case development, test execution, and defect management.

• Hands-on Agentic AI experience (required), with demonstrated ability to utilize AI agents or agent-based workflows to support testing activities, validate results, and improve QA productivity.

• Generative AI experience, using tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or comparable platforms to accelerate test case creation, test data preparation, and QA documentation.

• Experience with OpenText Quality Center / ALM (formerly HP ALM) for managing test cases, requirements, execution results, and defects.

• Strong SQL skills and data validation experience, including querying databases, verifying data integrity, and working with XML or similar structured data formats.

• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC processes, including functional, integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Ability to evaluate AI-generated testing outputs, identify inaccuracies, validate expected results, and ensure quality standards are maintained.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate across technical and business teams.

What the Client Needs You to Do

The client needs a hands-on QA professional who can deliver reliable software testing while actively incorporating Agentic AI and Generative AI into quality assurance workflows.

You will be expected to:

• Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies that ensure application functionality, data accuracy, and release readiness.

• Apply Agentic AI capabilities to streamline testing activities, support intelligent test workflows, and validate AI-assisted results.

• Utilize Generative AI to improve test scenario development, documentation, test data creation, and overall testing efficiency.

• Partner with development teams, business analysts, project managers, and business stakeholders to identify defects early and maintain software quality.

• Recommend practical improvements to QA processes through automation, AI-assisted testing, and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute detailed test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts aligned with business requirements and technical specifications.

• Apply Agentic AI to support QA activities, evaluate agent-generated outputs, and identify opportunities for more intelligent and efficient testing workflows.

• Leverage Generative AI tools to accelerate test development, produce test data, streamline documentation, and enhance overall test coverage.

• Manage testing activities using OpenText Quality Center / ALM, including test execution tracking, defect documentation, and quality reporting.

• Perform database and data validation testing using SQL, XML, and other structured data formats to verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during requirements analysis, design reviews, testing cycles, and defect resolution to ensure quality expectations are met.

• Coordinate testing schedules and reviews, communicate testing progress, assess risks, and provide stakeholders with actionable quality metrics and release-readiness updates.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test documentation, coordinating test data, assisting business users, and facilitating knowledge transfer.

• Evaluate testing technologies and automation opportunities, including AI-powered QA solutions, to improve efficiency, repeatability, and defect detection.

• Maintain testing standards and documentation while ensuring alignment with applicable security practices, organizational procedures, and software quality requirements.
