Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Charlotte, NC seeks a proactive Engineer to lead comprehensive testing activities across functional, integration, and end-to-end scenarios. You will design test plans, execute cases, and validate data across systems, APIs, and databases within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities include collaborating with developers and business teams, supporting UAT and production validation, and maintaining thorough test documentation.

Qualifications

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to understand testing requirements.
• Create detailed test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test execution plans.
• Perform Functional Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, and End-to-End Testing.
• Execute test cases and document test results with appropriate evidence.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects throughout the defect lifecycle.
• Perform API and database validation as required using tools such as Postman and SQL.
• Validate data between front-end applications, APIs, databases, and downstream systems.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with development and business teams to clarify requirements and troubleshoot defects.
• Support UAT, production validation, and release activities.
• Maintain test documentation and provide testing status, defect metrics, and execution reports.
• Ensure appropriate test coverage for critical business workflows and negative scenarios.
