Job summary

Flosum is seeking a hands-on QA tester in the United States to ensure quality across our enterprise web applications. You will design and execute test cases, maintain checklists, and document results for release readiness.

You will test REST APIs with Swagger or Postman, verify data with SQL, and perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing. This contractor role offers growth opportunities and a chance to improve testing processes and coverage.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Manual QA experience.
• Experience testing web applications.
• Experience with Salesforce.
• Understanding of QA lifecycle.
• Strong test design skills.
• Experience with Jira and TestRail.
• Familiar with browser DevTools.
• Experience testing REST APIs.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• DB testing with Postgres/MySQL.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Basic Git understanding.
• Good communication and attention to detail.
• English proficiency for daily communication.
• Experience testing complex enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Test new features and verify bug fixes.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and other QA documentation.
• Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios before development is completed.
• Test REST APIs using Swagger or Postman.
• Verify data using SQL.
• Reproduce reported issues and work with developers to investigate root causes.
• Participate in refinement sessions, and release testing.
• Help improve our testing processes and increase overall test coverage.
