Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Manual Mill Operator for a well-established metal manufacturing company in West Phoenix. The role requires accuracy, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to maintain tight tolerances while producing quality parts.

The successful candidate will read blueprints, set up milling operations, and inspect work using precision tools. This is a full-time position with pay DOE and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manual milling machines.
• Experience in metal manufacturing or related industries is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings.
• Strong understanding of machining practices and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual milling machines to machine metal components to specification.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and manufacturing instructions.
• Perform dimensional inspections throughout the machining process.
• Utilize calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Maintain required tolerances and quality standards.
• Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for machining operations.
• Deburr, finish, and inspect completed parts.
• Complete production paperwork and inspection records accurately.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in good working condition.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Manual Mill Operator - 1st Shift

Location: West Phoenix, AZ
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking an experienced Manual Mill Operator for a well-established metal manufacturing company in West Phoenix. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in metal fabrication, machining, aerospace manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, or other precision manufacturing environments.

We are looking for dependable individuals with strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to produce quality parts while maintaining tight tolerances.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual milling machines to machine metal components to specification
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and manufacturing instructions
• Perform dimensional inspections throughout the machining process
• Utilize calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment
