Job summary

A & H Metals, Inc. in Newark, DE is hiring an experienced Manual Machinist to join our expert team.

The role focuses on reverse engineering, prototyping, and R&D machining, with a preference for ProtoTRAK experience and familiarity with Southwestern Industries mills and lathes. We offer up to $35 per hour based on skill level and experience, full-time hours on an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Manual machining experience required (steel, aluminum, stainless steel).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• ProtoTRAK experience preferred; Southwestern mills/lathes experience a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain manual machining equipment with precision and efficiency.
• Work with Southwestern Industries mills and lathes using ProtoTRAK controls.
• Review blueprints, samples, and instructions to ensure accuracy.
• Support R&D and prototype machining projects.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
