Microwave Techniques is seeking a Manual Machinist for our Gorham, Maine components division to operate manual lathes and mills, set up fixtures, and read blueprints to produce precision parts for high-power microwave systems.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of manual machining experience, strong accuracy, and a safety-focused approach. We offer a comprehensive benefits package effective day one, 401K with employer match, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of manual machining experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with lathes, mills, and setup/fixturing.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate lathes, mills, drills, routers in a manual shop.
• Set up and fixture manual machines and optimize feeds.
• Read blueprints and perform dimensional verification.
• Measure dimensions with precision instruments and ensure conformance.
• Identify tool wear and adjust machines accordingly.
