TECOMET is seeking aManual Machinist in New Jersey to operate and set up manual machines, including mills and lathes. The role requires reading blueprints, measuring parts, and ensuring quality. You will document processes, manage time, and support tooling development with engineering.

Qualifications include at least a high school diploma and 3 years of machine shop experience; welding experience is a plus. The position focuses on safe, precise work in a manufacturing setting.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years machine shop experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, sketches, work orders or instructions.
• Welding experience is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate manual machines (milling machines, lathes, drill press, surface grinder).
• Rework parts per print with instructions.
• Maintain on-time production per schedule.
• Inspect parts to ensure dimensions and fit meet specs.
• Document routings and inspection reports.
• Record time and manage shop floor paperwork.
