Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team in the United States. You will diagnose incoming units, disassemble, repair, assemble, and prepare items for shipment using engine lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses.

Requirements include at least 2 years of related experience, ability to read micrometers and blueprints, tolerance work to +/- .001, and readiness to work overtime or weekends.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years related experience, or equivalent education and training.
• Read micrometer measuring equipment and blueprints.
• Tolerance work to +/- .001 and basic math proficiency.
• Familiarity with motor shop or machine shop environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose incoming units, disassemble, repair, assemble, and prepare items for shipment.
• Operate engine lathes, horizontal lathes, milling machines, grinders, drilling machines.
• Safely use overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
• Perform mechanical measurements with dial indicators and micrometers.
• Machine and fabricate parts using lathes and grinders; draw prints for fabrication.
