Job summary

Integrated Power Services in Cleveland seeks a skilled Repair / Job Shop Machinist to join a fast-paced industrial shop. You will set up and operate heavy lathes and milling equipment, perform precision machining on large components, and contribute to heavy repair projects with safety and craftsmanship.

You should bring a strong background in manual machining, read blueprints, and use micrometers and dial indicators.

Qualifications

• Strong background in manual machining in a heavy industrial or job shop.
• Proficient with shop math and precision measuring tools (micrometers, dial indicators).
• Ability to work independently with low-tolerance setups and safety focused.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork orientation.

Responsibilities

• Custom machine setups with heavy manual lathes and mills to tight tolerances.
• Diagnosis of worn or damaged parts and determining required machining per OEM specs.
• Heavy precision turning, boring, and milling of large components.
• Rigging and safety using cranes and hoists to position massive parts.
