Position Summary

Setup and operate Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) lathes and/or mills. Responsible for setting up and operating equipment with some program editing and offsetting on various parts. Ensure parts meet dimensional requirements.

Shifts: 3:00pm-1:30am Monday-Thursday

Duties

• Read blueprints and routers to meet production and quality standards.
• Set up and operate swiss-type CNC lathes or CNC milling centers; may assist lower-level operators.
• Perform limited editing and offsetting of programs.
• Use standard measuring devices like calipers and micrometers to ensure quality while maintaining productivity.
• Follow plant rules and policies.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years CNC machining experience or technical degree
• Ability to read blueprints, process routers, and SOPs
• Finite motor skills for operations
• Primarily standing with limited bending or twisting
• Ability to move products weighing up to fifty pounds
• Good visual acuity for detecting product non-conformities
