The first shift Manual Machinist III is responsible for performing senior-level, complex manual machining on aerospace parts.

This position is based at the Pall Aerospace Machine Shop in New Port Richey, FL, working Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with routine overtime. U.S. citizenship, legal permanent residency, protected status, or U.S. export authorization is required, and employment is contingent upon obtaining necessary visas and export licenses.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Machine and deburr parts from bar stock, selecting proper tools and fixtures, and ensuring tolerances are met by reading complex drawings and sketches.
• Set up and operate manual lathes and mills, inspecting work with various gauges and tools to ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot machine issues, collaborate with engineers on process development, and train coworkers.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High School diploma or GED and at least six years of experience with manual machining equipment.
• Strong knowledge of shop math, reading complex drawings, and understanding tolerances. FAA certification may be required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Physical/Environmental Requirements:

• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with assistance for up to 50 pounds. Standing for long periods, twisting, and bending are required.
• Pass visual acuity exam.
• Work with solvents, oils, and chemicals.

Preferred experience includes:

• Aerospace manual machining experience.
