Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years' experience in cutting, deburring and cleaning tubing and fittings.
• Ability to navigate ERP system to find drawings and instructions.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs daily.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Attention to detail to drive plant safety and product quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Works from instructions, drawings, and lists of tube diameters and lengths with supervision.
• Prints drawings and work instructions using SAP.
• Uses engine lathes and manual milling machines to produce components.
• Follows engineering specifications to produce quality and accurate products.
• Performs routine, repetitive operations to maintain quality and timeliness.
• Completes 6S responsibilities (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety).
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment and supports on-time shipments.
• Demonstrates proper measuring techniques, tool use, and quality standards.
• Works with a team or independently as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Manual Machinist II - 1st Shift/$10k sign-on bonus

Job Description:

Entegris is currently seeking a Manual Machinist II to join our Advanced Purity Solutions Division in San Luis Obispo, CA.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing tasks related to producing components used in our Ultra High Purity Systems. This role will be responsible for demonstrating proper inspection techniques to ensure accuracy to engineering specifications. This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions. Basic Knowledge of using engine lathes, vertical milling machines, belt and disk sanders, shears, drill press, press brake, automatic band saws and tube facing tools.

What You’ll Do:

• Works from instructions, drawings, and lists of various tube diameters and lengths with supervision.
• Use SAP to print drawings and work instructions.
• Use engine lathes & manual milling machines to produce components.

• Compensation: $28-$31 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
