Entegris, Inc. is seeking a Machine Technician I for the San Luis Obispo, California location to fabricate stainless-steel tubing per engineering drawings.

The role involves cutting, facing, bending, deburring, and using bandsaws, CNC tube bend equipment, and hand tools in a safe, efficient manner. You will work on 2nd shift (3pm–11:30pm), follow drawings via SAP, maintain 6S, and support on-time shipments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years' tubing cutting, deburring and cleaning experience.
• Ability to navigate SAP/ERP to locate drawings and instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Detail-oriented to ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Follow engineering specifications to produce quality parts on schedule.

Job Title

Machine Technician I - 2nd Shift

The Role

Entegris is currently seeking a Machine Technician I to join our Operations team at our San Luis Obispo, California location. The Machine Technician I will be responsible for performing tasks related to producing components used in our OEM assemblies. This position will fabricate various stainless-steel tubes per engineering drawings and specifications. This may include cutting, facing, bending, and de-burring. These tasks will be accomplished by using vertical bandsaws, CNC tube bend equipment, porta band saws, roto bur tools, files, tube facing tools and various hand tools and measuring equipment. This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions. This is a 2nd shift position, working 3pm - 11:30pm.

What You’ll Do

• Works from instructions, drawings, and lists of various tube diameters and lengths with supervision.
• Use SAP to print drawings and tube cut lists.
• Cut, prepare, and bend tubes per drawings.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Follow engineering specifications to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner.
• Performs routine, repetitive operations and processes to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner.
• Complete 6S responsibilities (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety).
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and maintain or increase On-Time Shipments.
• Ability to work safely and recognize the safety of others.
• Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance.
• Learn proper measuring techniques, tool use, care, and quality standards.
• Work with a team as well as independently when needed.
• Create a healthy and safe work environment for all employees.
• Any other duties as assigned.

• Compensation: $22-24 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
