Job summary

Integrated Power Services, LLC. is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. You will identify problems, disassemble, repair, and prepare rotating machinery components, using a range of manual tools and balancing equipment, while following safety procedures and drawings.

You will read micrometers and blueprints with precision, perform measurements, and fabricate parts. The role requires availability for overtime and weekends as needed to meet customer deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years related experience in manual machining
• Ability to read micrometers and precision instruments
• Experience with engine lathes, milling machines, grinders
• Able to interpret drawings and blueprints
• Willing to work overtime and weekends

Responsibilities

• Diagnose incoming units, disassemble, repair, assemble, and prepare items for shipment
• Operate engine/horizontal lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses
• Safely use overhead and gantry cranes and lift trucks
• Perform mechanical measurements with dial indicators, micrometers, and vibration equipment
• Draw accurate prints for parts needing fabrication
