Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Manual Machinist in Mt. Morris, PA for a full-time day shift. The schedule runs Monday–Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and the pay is up to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Manual Machinist required.
Strong understanding of machining principles and shop mathematics.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience using precision measuring instruments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, drill presses, and other machine shop equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
Machine precision parts to customer specifications
Measure and inspect finished products using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
Maintain quality standards and production requirements
Perform routine equipment maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
