Opti Staffing is partnering with an established machine shop in Gresham, OR to hire an experienced Manual Machinist. The role requires hands-on operation of manual milling machines and lathes, reading blueprints, and maintaining tight tolerances.

Schedule offers a flexible daytime window from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM with the option for any 8-hour shift within that window. Pay is up to $35/hr DOE, and part-time considerations may be available for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate manual milling machines and manual lathes.
• Machine, modify, and repair components to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and measurements.
• Set up machines, select tooling, and make necessary adjustments.
• Use precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
