Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machining equipment to produce precision parts and components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and specifications.
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and adjustments.
• Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to maintain quality and tolerances.
• Troubleshoot basic machining and production issues.
• Maintain equipment and a clean, safe work area.
• Follow all quality, safety, and production procedures.

Trend Personnel Services is hiring an experienced Machinist for an established precision manufacturing client in Garland, TX. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for a skilled machinist with strong mechanical aptitude and experience producing precision parts to specifications.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate machining equipment to produce precision parts and components

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and specifications

Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and adjustments

Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools

Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to maintain quality and tolerances

Troubleshoot basic machining and production issues

Maintain equipment and a clean, safe work area

Follow all quality, safety, and production procedures

Qualifications
