Job summary

Industrial Services of Peachtree City is seeking a skilled Manual & CNC Machinist to operate and program manual mills and lathes and CNC mills/lathes. You will read blueprints and engineering drawings, machine diverse materials, and verify tolerances with precision instruments.

You will work primarily on one-off parts, with Mastercam experience a plus, and opportunities for overtime. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered in a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on experience running manual machines.
• 1+ years programming and operating CNC mills/lathes.
• Blueprint reading and mechanical problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, and precision instruments.
• Comfortable machining complex, one-off parts.

Responsibilities

• Run manual mills and lathes to machine precision parts from scratch or drawings.
• Program and run CNC mills and lathes (G-code or conversational).
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and part samples.
• Machine materials including steel, stainless, aluminum, and plastics.
• Work independently to design and build accurate components.
• Use CAD/CAM or G/M-code programming (Mastercam experience is a plus).
• Hold close tolerances and verify dimensions using measuring tools.

Industrial Services of Peachtree City is a full-service welding, fabrication, and machining shop working with steel, aluminum, stainless, and plastics. We specialize in precision parts and solutions for wholesalers, retailers, and contractors.

We’re looking for a Manual & CNC Machinist who can both operate and program a variety of manual and CNC equipment for custom part fabrication.

What You’ll Do:

• Run manual mills and lathes to machine precision parts from scratch or drawings.
• Program and run CNC mills and lathes (G-code or conversational).
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and part samples.
• Machine materials including steel, stainless, aluminum, and plastics.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $18–$30/hr depending on experience

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Possible Overtime
