• Reviewexample parts,drawings& instructionsto ensure familiarity with parts requirements.
• Measure, calculate, interpolate & extrapolate dimensions to ensure part conformity.
• Selectappropriate machines & toolingand plan the required sequence of machining operations to ensure part qualityand maximum productivity.
• Set up machine and machine parts consistent with best practices and industry standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damage.
• Provide applicable technical insight and guidance to junior Machine Shop personnel and other interdepartmentalpersonnel as circumstances require.
• Maintainaccurateaccounting of inventory tag status,locationand quantity.
• Manages
• Rework and/or otherwisedispositionnon-confirming inventory.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Able to:
• Read and interpretengineering drawings, schematics,manuals& othertechnical documents.
• Walk & stand for approximately 8 hours per day in a climate controlled shop environment.
• Able to function ata high levelof productivity without regular oversight.
• 5yearsof applicableexperience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
