Adecco is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist for a full-time shop-based position in Gillette, WY. You will set up and operate conventional machining equipment to manufacture precision metal parts with tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and other shop equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions
• Measure, inspect, and verify completed parts using precision measuring tools including:
• Micrometers, Calipers, Gauges
• Select the correct cutting tools, feeds, and speeds for various materials
• Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet exact specifications
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Deburr, polish, and finish parts as needed
• Follow all workplace safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area

We're looking for an experienced Manual Machinist who enjoys working with traditional machining equipment and has the skills to produce high-quality components with accuracy and attention to detail.

What You’ll Do

As a Manual Machinist, you’ll set up and operate conventional machining equipment to manufacture and repair precision metal parts while maintaining strict quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and other shop equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions
• Measure, inspect, and verify completed parts using precision measuring tools including:
  • Micrometers
  • Calipers
  • Gauges
• Select the correct cutting tools, feeds, and speeds for various materials
• Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet exact specifications
