  • Set up machines by selecting appropriate tooling, calibrating measurement instruments, and ensuring proper machine alignment.
  • Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other inspection tools.
  • Use hand tools and power tools for machining, assembly, and finishing processes.
  • Determine machining sequences and tooling requirements from technical drawings.
  • Conduct quality inspections on finished parts to ensure dimensions and tolerances meet specifications.
  • Assist with machine maintenance, tool setup, and troubleshooting during production runs.
  • Follow all safety procedures when operating machinery and handling tools.

Experience

  • Ability to accurately set up machines for various machining operations, including turning and milling.
  • Strong basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and machining adjustments.
