Job summary

Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist in Akron, OH to operate 5HP Bridgeport-style mills and manual lathes for low-volume, precision production for custom automation systems and specialty equipment.

You will read blueprints, set up tooling, and perform first-piece and in-process inspections while maintaining a safe and organized shop. This hands-on role requires strong attention to detail and adherence to tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manual mills (Bridgeport-style) and manual lathes and surface grinders.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and work from sketches with minimal supervision.
• Deep understanding of work-holding, part indication, and NMBT tooling.
• Experience with aluminum, alloy steel, and stainless steel materials and tight-tolerance production.

Responsibilities

• Operate 5HP Bridgeport-style manual mills and manual lathes safely and efficiently.
• Machine low-volume, precision components from various materials.
• Read and interpret technical blueprints and layouts to hold tight tolerances.
• Select tooling, indicate parts, verify secure work-holding, and perform first-piece and in-process inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and collaborative workshop environment.
