Job summary

ARM Services in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a skilled Manual/Conventional Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. You will set up and operate lathes, mills and grinders to produce precision parts to exact specifications.

You will read blueprints and technical drawings, perform quality checks with precision instruments, and document production processes while collaborating closely with a manufacturing team to maintain safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; machining certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Manual/Conventional Machinist or similar role.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tools, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Responsibilities
