Job summary

Randstad USA in Greeneville, TN is seeking an experienced 1st Shift Manual & CNC Haas Operator to set up and run Haas CNC mills and manual machines, reading prints and ensuring dimensional accuracy. We’re hiring an experienced 1st Shift Manual & CNC Haas Operator! You’ll set up and run Haas CNC mills/lathes alongside manual machines to produce precision components. Read prints, perform quality checks with micrometers/calipers, and adjust G-code offsets. 2+ years experience with Haas controls & manual machining required. High school diploma/GED needed; competitive pay + full benefits!

CNC Haas Operations

• Load raw materials, run setup programs, and operate Haas CNC mills and lathes.
• Call up existing CNC programs, verify tooling/workholding, and adjust tool offsets, feeds, and speeds as necessary.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Identify basic G-code and M-code line items to make minor edits or offset adjustments when necessary.

Manual Machining

• Set up and operate manual mills, lathes, surface grinders, and drill presses for short-run production, prototype work, or secondary operations.
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, speeds, and feeds for manual operations based on material type and tolerances.
• Perform deburring, chamfering, and manual finishing operations on completed components.

Quality Control & Blueprint Reading

• Interpret technical engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T callouts.
• Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, dial indicators, and gauge blocks) to verify tolerances.
• Document inspection results and complete daily production and Quality Assurance logs.

Maintenance & Safety

• Perform routine daily maintenance (cleaning chips, checking coolant levels/concentrations, checking way lube).
• Adhere to all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and OSHA standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (5S guidelines).
