Job summary

Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club in Northeast Florida is seeking a Server to ensure members have an excellent dining experience. The Mansion dining role includes serving dishes and beverages, maintaining proper table setups, answering menu questions, and presenting checks at the end of meals.

The position emphasizes punctuality, flexible scheduling including weekends/holidays, professional appearance, and strong guest service to support a premier club experience.

Responsibilities

• Be punctual at all times and arrive to work on time, consistently.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends and holidays.
• Dress in proper, crisp, clean attire with name tag; maintain professional, welcoming demeanor.
• Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; Management has final approval.
• Make sure all side work is complete before opening.
• Set up tables: glasses and silver are clean and lined up properly; salt and pepper shakers clean and filled; sugar holders are full and clean; chairs, including legs and table bases, are clean; flowers look good; table cloth is crisp and hanging properly.
• Attend pre-shift meeting to learn daily specials and miscellaneous information.
• Greet members and their guests IMMEDIATELY and with a SMILE.
• Guide members and their guests through the course of their dining experience, communicating frequently with them.
• Ring member checks accurately and on a timely manner.
• Communicate with the Dining Room Captain or the Dining Room Manager as to when to close.
• Close and check all member checks at the end of the shift.
• Turn in check-out to the Dining Room Captain or the Dining Room Manager.
• Perform other jobs that will assist in quality member service as assigned by the Dining Room Captain or the Dining Room Manager.

Job Summary

To ensure members have completely enjoyed their visit to the club by ensuring a wonderful dining experience. The Mansion - Server position is responsible for serving dishes and beverages to guests and members, ensuring a clean and proper table setup for each guest throughout the shift, answering questions regarding items on the menu, and presenting checks to guests at the conclusion of the meal.
